CHAIN CONVEYORS
The chain conveyors are used mostly in the sawmills for transport of logs, planks, slats and all the other types of sawn-timber. From the insert of the logs into the production line till the outcome of wooden products chain conveyors are essential part of the handling system.
1.
Longitudinal chain conveyor - to transport timber in length direction, usually as the feeding conveyors or as a part of sorting lines (possible to add different links and ejectors)
2. Cross chain conveyors - for the transverse transportation of timber in the manipulation line
3. Bend log-turning conveyor
4. Special purpose chain conveyors - designed mainly for the sawmills
